I remember when women and girls used to keep scrapbooks of things they liked. They were idea books, wish books, and planning books. They would tear out pictures in magazines and glue them on the pages, and staple in swatches of cloth. They would make notes and sketches. There were books with decorating ideas. Some were wedding planners. There were cookbooks, gardening - all kinds of books.
This is what Pinterest.com is. It’s a bulletin board where you can pin up and keep all the cool things that you find on the internet. The added bonus is that all your boards are shared with everyone else on Pinterest. It’s easy to find people with your same likes and interests, and then click to follow them. All the pins of people you follow will show in one place where you can find more of the things you like. And more. And more. Oh how one can waste away time on Pinterest! Pinterest is a place to dream.
